Child Safety Standards Policy
1. Gruppz's Commitment to Child Safety
Gruppz has zero tolerance toward child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child sexual exploitation, grooming, and any content or conduct that puts minors at risk. This policy complies with Google Play's Child Safety Standards and with applicable Mexican legislation, including the General Law on the Rights of Children and Adolescents (LGDNNA), the Federal Criminal Code, and the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).
Gruppz is a dating application exclusively for adults aged 18 and over and strictly prohibits use by minors.
2. Age Restriction
2.1 Minimum age
Access to Gruppz is restricted to persons aged 18 and over. The registration or use of the app by any minor is prohibited, without exception.
2.2 Age verification
To enforce this restriction, Gruppz applies the following mechanisms:
- Mandatory age confirmation during registration via date of birth.
- Automatic blocking of any registration with a date of birth indicating an age under 18.
- Identity verification will be requested through direct contact via official photo ID (INE, passport) in cases where there are indications that a user could be a minor.
- Automated detection systems that analyze profile photos, language, and behavior patterns to identify possible minor accounts.
- Immediate removal of any account where the presence of a minor is detected or suspected.
2.3 False age reporting
Any person who registers by falsifying their age will be permanently removed from the platform. If it is detected that an adult facilitated access to a minor, this will be reported to the competent authorities.
3. Prohibition of CSAM and Child Exploitation Content (CSAE)
3.1 Zero tolerance
Gruppz strictly prohibits:
- The creation, upload, storage, transmission, distribution, or solicitation of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
- Any content that sexualizes, depicts, or promotes the exploitation of minors, including AI-generated images, drawings, animations, or text.
- Grooming, recruitment, coercion, or any attempt to contact, manipulate, or exploit minors for sexual or any other purposes.
- The promotion, glorification, or normalization of child abuse or exploitation.
- The exchange of information, links, or references that facilitate access to CSAM.
3.2 Detection and prevention
Gruppz implements the following mechanisms to prevent and detect CSAM:
- Automated image scanning using hashing technology (similar to PhotoDNA) that compares uploaded content against known CSAM databases.
- Human moderation of reports and content flagged by automated systems.
- Language analysis in chats and profiles to identify patterns associated with grooming or exploitation.
- Immediate reporting to the competent authorities and specialized organizations (NCMEC — National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and the corresponding Mexican authorities).
